EVENT SPACE

At The Aviary we frequently host workshops, corporate work sessions, retail pop-ups, speaker series, art shows, and social gatherings. Events take place in our flex space, which is 800 sqft at street level with a large shopfront allowing easy access for your guests, and prime visibility on our commercial block.

This space includes 2 large communal tables that accommodate up to 14 people. It is flexible and additional chairs can be added as required. Furniture can also be removed for gallery-type events, upon request. The space has a long white wall dedicated to projection and pin up. We have a Sonos Play 1 speaker with wireless connectivity.  There is access to our kitchen and washroom facilities.  


AVAILABILITY & RATES

Weeknights starting at 6pm - $90/hour*
Weekends - Hours are flexible $90/hour*

* Prices include GST
* Minimum 3 hour booking and Cleaning fees additional
* For corporate use during business hours, please contact us for rates and suitability

* Large events will be charged an additional administration fee and is event dependent, you will be notified if this is necessary.

 

Additional Information about Event Space Rentals

  • Refundable security deposit required to secure booking
  • Cleaning fee $70
  • Cleaning fee with food & beverage $135
  • Event insurance is required
  • Valid BC liquor license required if serving alcohol 
  • Food Safe required if serving self-prepared foods
